This stellar bookcase dates from the 1890's and is beautifully hand made with leaded and beveled glass doors, and fluted columns with capitals. The deeply carved dentil work on the top and heavy moldings add loads of character. The finish is in excellent condition in a warm medium oak color and the leaded glass doors are in excellent condition.
This hand carved cabinet has two hand dove tailed drawers below, and inside, the shelves are adjustable on wooden supports. Workmanship is outstanding on this fine antique furniture bookcase. The proportions are great and size is 5' wide, 21' 1/2" deep, and 71 1/2" tall. Inside shelves are 15" deep, great for larger books and albums.
