Originally hand carved in China about 1890 as a family altar table or cabinet for heirlooms, this rugged antique could now have a new life almost anyplace in your home. We envision it working well as a kitchen island. Hand made of solid hard ash, and pine, the hand cut mortise joints are visible on all sides, and everything is hand planed and shaped.
The honey brown finish is excellent on all four sides, with enough old "character" to show its age. Drawers have hand dovetailed sides and old brass pulls. Solidly built and very sturdy, dimensions are 40" wide, 21" deep and 34" tall.
