Hand made of solid mahogany, this game table is faithful to Sheraton design, replicated during America's first Centennial celebration during the 1870's. The reeded legs and elegant proportions are exquisite.
To open, the top flips open, and a back gateleg swings out on a carved wooden hinge to support the top. Authentic handcut dovetails are visible on the back of this antique table. Very solid furniture, the deep reddish finish is excellent. There is an old repair to the left side of the table in the flame grain apron, barely noticable, - see photos. Measurements are 37" wide, 18" deep and 29 1/2" tall, open size is 36" by 37" and 28 1/2" tall.
