French Carved Rosewood & Burl Queen Size Bed, 1900

The gorgeous natural grain of rosewood and burl wood are displayed to great advantage with this queen size bed. Carved in France about 1900., the gracefully curved moldings and hand carved crest are especially wonderful.

The satiny original finish is excellent, and this antique bed has been fitted with modern steel rails to fit standard queen size mattress and spring. There are various dings and chips as to be expected with a 100 year old antique - see photos.

Measurements are 5'4" wide, the headboard is 5'4" tall and the footboard is 41" tall.
