Signed by famed clockmaker "Chauncey Jerome" of Bristol, Connecticut, this authentic American Empire ogee clock has an 8 day movement. The case is flame grain matched mahogany with original wavy glass, labels and hand-painted dial.
There is also a signature on the brass weight-driven movement, which has been professionally cleaned and oiled, runs well and strikes the hour.
The lower glass has been overpainted on the back side, and the case is 29" tall, 17" wide and 4 1/2" deep.
