This authentic Empire or Biedermeier settee / sofa was hand-made about 1835 of rosewood, mahogany and fruitwood with gorgeous inlay work. The historic pattern upholstery is new, and the lyre-shaped arms are beautiful.
The gracefully shaped frame has wonderful warm patina, with repairs and touch-ups of various ages. Solid and comfortable, this antique furniture is ready for another 100 years of life in your home.
Dimensions are 4'2" long, 39" deep and 32" tall, the seat is about 19" high.
