American Empire design distinguishes this antique chest or dresser dating from the 1840's. The matched flame mahogany is beautiful.
There is a "secret" drawer just below the top. A "wishbone" frame supports the swivel mirror, and the gleaming mahogany finish is superb. Entirely hand made, all the drawers have tiny hand-cut dovetails.
This stately dresser is 43" wide, 20" deep, 6'11" tall, and the base is 43" high.
