Hand-made of rough-sawn pine about 1860, a primitive country pie safe or cupboard has arched doors. Square nails show on all sides of this rustic American furniture, there is bronze wire screen in the doors to ventilate bakery.
The warm golden brown finish is very good on this picturesque and asymmetric antique, which was probably part of a larger piece. Size is 6' 1/2" long, 17" deep and 45" tall.
