Original Price: $695.00

Handmade in Pennsylvania about 1840, this small chest is actually a commode or washstand with a lift lid, often called a "bonnet box." There is space inside for a bowl and pitcher. Below are drawers with chamfered bottoms and hand-cut dovetails. The top is solid mahogany, and drawer fronts have matched flame grain mahogany. A rich, deep finish is excellent on this antique furniture, and size is 33" wide, 19" deep and 34" tall. D-B2123
