This 18" diameter ship's bell was intended for an unknown vessel, and has a heavy cast brass bracket.
Signed inside "Greenberg, S F, Cal." the alloy bell is very heavy and has a very bold and resonant tone, the clapper has an iron loop for a rope.
Probably about 75 years old, the bell itself is 14" tall, with the bracket height is 17" total.
