Before the term "ergonomic" was used, these rugged chairs were created to be comfortable and supportive. Solid quarter-sawn oak from about 1900, they have sculpted seats, shaped lumbar-supporting spindles and curved backs.
Utterly solid and durable, the lustrous deep brown finish is excellent.
Antique furniture made for a St. Louis courthouse, measurements are 24" wide, 24" deep, 32" tall and seats are 18" high. More of these wonderful chairs are available, and the table shown is sold separately.
