The genuine papier mache case of this wall clock has a painting of a dog, mother of pearl inlay and original gold artistry.
It is signed by famous American clock maker, "Seth Thomas", and the brass 8 day movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled.
It is a good runner with a bell strike. Even the key and pendulum, reflected in a mirror, appears original on this historic 1880's antique clock. The glass is later, and there is an old repair to the left edge of the face, see photo.
Size is 31 1/2" tall, 15" wide and 5" deep.
Item # F-C1257
