A remarkable one-of-a-kind folk art dressing table or vanity was hand-carved from thick solid planks of exquisite "bird's eye" grain maple. There are triple hinged mirrors above plus a matching bench.
The delicate natural grain "shimmers" as you walk past this American antique furniture, crafted about 1900. Golden and glowing, the finish is excellent with just a few mars on the seat. Brass knobs and the slightly "smoky" mirrors are original.
This historic and picturesque ensemble was created by a skilled amateur Wisconsin cabinetmaker for his wife, and was purchased from the original family.
