Carved about 1900 of oak, this Victorian 3 piece set has a large armchair, rocking chair and a settee with lions heads and paw feet. Generously scaled, the golden oak frames have an excellent finish and are very solid and sturdy. Newly upholstered, the beautiful green fabric is tufted on the backs, and the springs are comfortable. Note - old repair on rocker runner - see photo. All pieces are upholstered on the sides and backs.
This is a stellar example of richly carved oak furniture from the turn of the century. The settee measures 53" wide, 30" deep and 44" tall, the chair is 29" wide, 30" deep and 44" tall, and the rocker is 29" wide, 36" deep and 44" tall. Y-S1676 |
