This elegant solid cherry dropleaf gateleg dining or sofa table shows Federal and Sheraton influence, and was hand made about 1830.

The satiny finish is excellent, there are only minute flaws at the edges. Edges of naturally golden sapwood add to the warm tone of the wood. Dropleaves are supported on "gate legs" that swing on carved wooden hinges.

Measurements of this exquisite American antique furniture are 47" wide, 28 1/2" tall and 20" long with the dropleaves down, 58" long with both raised.
