Stunning simplicity from the Danish Modern or Midcentury Modern period characterizes this 1960's silver or collector's cabinet. This would be a great cabinet for jewelry and artifacts, or as a file in an office!
The exterior is walnut with sliding tambour doors and a very fine original finish. Behind the gracefully bowed front, the interior is finished in golden maple with eleven adjustable slide-out trays and shelves. Brass hardware is also original.
Stellar craftsmanship is evident everywhere, and at the bottom are two pull-out shelves with glass inserts. Outstanding vintage furniture for many uses, size is 43" wide, 18" deep and 59" tall. J-C1384 |
