What this charming Victorian furniture was intended for is unclear - perhaps a telephone stand, writing or reception desk, or maybe a bar cabinet.
Richly carved of solid American walnut, this antique shows Renaissance Revival and Eastlake influence. We suspect that this elegant cabinet was born as a reed or pump organ in the 1870's, and there is evidence of later rebuilding.
The finish is excellent, and size is 28" wide, 26" deep and 59" tall. K-D1859 |
