This pine trunk or chest from the mid 1800's was used by an immigrant.
There are many different ways this 150 year old antique could have a place in your home. We envision it as a coffee table, or for storage at the end of a bed, also perfect for storing kids toys.
Hand cut dovetails at the corners are beautiful, and the inside has a covered compartment for valuables.
The lock and key are working, and the finish is excellent with warm golden patina. There is lots of character - mars and wear. The top is a single board, and square nailheads are visible.
Measurements of this charming furniture are 43" long, 18" wide and 19" tall.
