This classic Georgian Welsh dresser or pewter cupboard is wonderful country pine furniture from the early 1800's. Entirely hand-made, rose-cut nails and hand-plane marks are visible everywhere on this picturesque antique furniture.
The removable upper gallery section has display shelves. Joints have wooden pegs, and the glowing old finish is very fine with lovely patina and character - see photoss of mars, shrinkage separations and wear.
Across the top of the base cabinet are three drawers, below are three false drawer fronts. Brasses are heavy weight and keyhole covers are carved.
Measurements are 5'3" wide, 20" deep, 6'8" tall and the base is 37" high. L-W485 |
