Hand carved with neo-classical themes, this beautiful antique chest or dresser has a marble top and arched beveled mirror. The rich, deep finish is excellent on solid walnut. Expertly crafted furntiure from about 1910, the high relief carved panels show outstanding artistry in the Renaissance manner.
Famous red "Rosso Levanto" marble from an ancient Italian quarry is in excellent condition. An original mirror has some charming "smoke" to show its age. The arched top is especially graceful. Drawers are hand-dovetailed with original pulls.
