Signed by the most famous maker of lawyer's stacking bookcases, "Globe Wernicke," this pair of 5 glass front sections has separate bases and tops.
Solid birch and oak hardwood, the reddish brown finish is in excellent condition. This antique American furniture dates from about 1910.
The top three sections accommodate books up to 10 1/2" tall and 10" deep, the bottom section up to 13" tall. Overall size of both sections is 34" wide, 12" deep and 6' 3 1/2" tall.
