The earliest version of a "California Closet" we have ever seen, this simple-on-the-outside Art Deco armoire or wardrobe opens to reveal a golden interior with every conceivable method of clothes storage.
There are fat wooden dowels to hold pants, snap mounts for canes and umbrellas. Behind the mirror is a bar for ties, shoe storage is below dovetailed drawers. On the right are swing-out compartments, and there are closet poles at the top.
The exterior is warm brown matched walnut with beautiful grain, the interior is golden birch. Size of this antique 1930's furniture is 4'5" wide, 27" deep and 6'7" tall.
