An authentic Victorian oil or kerosene lamp has an original etched ball shade and a blown and cut glass font. The brass mounts are original from about 1860, the base is black glazed china.
Knobs on the double-wick burner are signed "British Make." The antique font has residue inside as shown in the photo, it doesn't show when it is filled. One tiny springy brass "finger" that hold the chimney is missing, and the chimney itself is modern.
The etched ball shade with an embossed windmill scene is 9" in diameter, total height is 26."
