In a kitchen or great room this rugged antique Victorian woodworking bench could be a center island for wine tasting and appetizers. Or, maybe just a great place to set your groceries when coming in from the market.
Solid birch, oak and pine, there is a working vise signed "Massey No. 17, Morgan Vise Co, Chicago." A recessed tray held tools on this American country furniture from the 1890's.
