A solid brass Samovar or hot water kettle for tea has an engraved Swedish plate signed "P F Haagensen, ?obing." Burning coals were put into the chimney, and water for tea boils in the tin-lined tank.
Very similar in design to the more common Russian samovars, this Swedish treasure is about 100 years old. Wooden handles are original.
