Very sturdy and substantial, this pair of similar but not identical solid quarter-sawn oak banker's chairs date from about 1910. The curved back spindles, shaped seats, and wide arms are both comfortable and graceful. Both are as sound and strong as they look and have contemporary "ergonomic" comfort.
