Victorian Carved Hall Bench, Lift Seat

An opulent carved Victorian hall bench has a lift seat for storage and dates from about 1880. The artistry is fabulous - hand carved in high relief in walnut with matched grain panels. Beautiful warm patina on the glowing finish is alluring, there is some character - small shrinkage separations and warps, see photos.
Measurements of this majestic antique furniture are 55" wide, 20" deep and 6' 4" tall, the seat is 20" high. Matching hall stand in last photo is priced separately.
