A charming little French cabinet from the Art Deco period about 1935 was created of walnut and birdseye maple with rosewood banding. The exact use of this furniture is unknown - perhaps it was used for evening bags, cigars and cigarettes, or as a bedside table.
Under a lift lid, the interior compartment is lined with delicate birdseye maple. There are shrinkage lines, typical of these exotic grain hardwoods. Size of this antique is 18" wide, 12" deep and 31" tall.
