Authentic Midcentury Modern 1940's furniture from Italy, this dining, library or hall table has sleek and stylish lines, accented in ebony. The satiny finish is excellent, flattering the quarter matched walnut burl, and the top is slightly warped and wavy, see photos.
Although unsigned, another piece in the original set shown in the last photo (already sold) bears the signature on the back reading, "Imposte Consimo Mobili, San Remo," the maker in a lovely resort town on the Mediterranean near the French border.
Measurements of this sturdy and dramatic vintage table are 62" long, 36" wide, 30" tall and legroom is 26" high.
