A charming Empire design sewing or Pembroke dropleaf table is solid mahogany, carved about 1890.
The gleaming finish is excellent on all four sides, enhancing the finely carved details - rope carved edges, acanthus pedestal and lion paw feet. Drawers have hand cut dovetails on this American antique furniture.
Measurements are 17" square and 30" tall, with both dropleaves raised, width is 38" total.
