A charming 1860's hanging or standing corner cupboard was hand crafted of solid fine grained quarter sawn oak. Hand carved, the top crown has dentil molding and sides are fluted. Chamfered panels and square nails testify to the age of this beautiful historic piece.
The original finish is attractively worn for nice antique patina. There is a working lock on the door of this traditional English country furniture. Hardware is not original, but very unique with a unicorn, and crested lion. Some of the top molding is missing, and there are dings and mars as to be expected on an antique of this age - please see photos.
Depth is 25" from the corner to the edge of the molding. It is 44" tall, 35" wide, and shelves are 9" apart.
