Farmer Chick Incubator or Kitchen Island

Signed "Chatham of Ontario and Detroit," an authentic chick incubator from the early 1900's could be repurposed as a kitchen island or work table.
Pine with a grained original finish, another coat of clear varnish was added years ago. There are two dropfront glass doors, inside wire mesh trays slide out to set eggs for hatching. Ports for ventilation and heating are original, a counterweighted vent on the top is adjustable. One leg is warped, see photos.
Country antique furniture from a Wisconsin farm, measurements are 49" long, 27" wide and 31 1/2" tall.
