Pine with a grained original finish, another coat of clear varnish was added years ago. There are two dropfront glass doors, inside wire mesh trays slide out to set eggs for hatching. Ports for ventilation and heating are original, a counterweighted vent on the top is adjustable. One leg is warped, see photos.
