Hand crafted about 1910 as a "Pannetier" or cabinet for French baguettes, this solid oak cupboard would also be nice in a bathroom.
The spindle or "jailhouse" grillwork allows fresh bread to breathe. The deep finish is in very fine condition on this charming rustic cabinet.
Doors have wooden pegs and wrought iron ring pulls. Mortise and tenon joints are visible on the sides of this country furniture from France.
Measurements are 37" wide, 17" deep and 56" tall.
