Hand-made about 1875, this charming cherry and pine jelly cupboard is said to be from Ohio. The finish is excellent with warm patina and lots of character, stains, mars and wear to show its age.
This very rugged country furniture was designed to hold the entire jam and jelly supply from the fall harvest for the rest of the year. There was always a lock to reduce "shrinkage" from hungry children on these nostalgic cabinets.
Measurements of this American antique furniture are 45" wide, 15 1/2" deep and 51" tall.
