The hand carved vine and ribbon motif is beautiful on a pair of French bed rail fragments, which would be charming as valances over windows or archways, or flanking a window or doorway.

Woodcarver's artistry from about 1880, the original finish is very well preserved, and has been waxed.

Measurements of these European antiques are 6' 3" long, 6 1/2" wide and just over 1" thick.
