Signed "W. & L.E. Gurley, Troy, NY," this rugged industrial tripod was made about 1940 for a surveyor to use in the field, and could be repurposed as a lamp base.

Oak and iron with nickel mounts, each leg telescopes on this folding vintage tripod base. Key operated clamps secure any height from 38" to 5' tall.

The original finish is worn on this rugged antique salvage.
