This solid mahogany chest with solid brass mounts and handles is useful for jewelry, silver or a collection.
The original presentation plaque is charming, dated for a birthday on March 1905, and could be reversed and engraved anew if desired. A lock in the lid secures both drawers, the interior has a new lining of ultrasuede.
The gleaming finish is impeccable on this American made antique, the floating picture framed top panel shows some shrinkage from age, see photos.
Drawers are almost 2" deep, overall size is 23" wide, 18" deep and 12 1/2" tall.
