A tall country pine corner cabinet has a classic flat crown, it was hand crafted about 1840, and said to be from Pennsylvania.
The finish is very well preserved with warm antique patina and lots of mars, stains and wear for character. Waxed and buffed, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its luster.
Inside shelves have grooves to display plates behind glass panes in the door. The back is hand hewn and the top is attached with hand cut dovetail joints. Hand cut square nails are visible on this American made furniture.
Measurements are 37" wide tip to tip across the crown, 6' 11" tall, and the radius or side is 26" deep from the front tip of the crown.
