This 1920 era embossed china oyster plate is signed, "Sarreguemines, France." Famous maker, "Utzscheider & Co." of the western Lorraine area of France has used the name of the town as a signature since about 1775.
This soft colored antique plate is undamaged and measures 9 1/2" diameter.
