A 1900 era stacking "lawyer's" bookcase has a leaded glass door and is signed by famous maker, "Globe." Three lower sections have 33 file drawers of various sizes.
The finish is in excellent condition on quarter sawn oak. We see no damage to the leaded and beveled glass of the bookcase door. Hardware and label holders are original on steel sided drawers.
Three bottom drawers fit standard 9 x 12 letter file folders, twelve center drawers are 12 x 15 inside., and 18 small drawers fit 3x5 cards. The base and top are also separate sections on this American made antique "modular" office furniture. Overall size is 42" wide, 25" deep and 63 1/2" tall.
