Authentic furniture from the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period about 1905, this sofa has a quarter sawn oak frame.
The old satiny finish is in very fine condition with minor mars at the edges. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its antique patina.
Upholstery is recent, there are spots on the tops of the seat cushions and a rip on the cording of the reverse side, see photos. Soft fabric is not worn, the seat is firm and comfortable.
Measurements of this American made furniture are 6' long, 29" deep, 34 1/2" tall and the seat is 19" high.
