A nostalgic "Album" with a hand painted and gold leaf papier mache cover is signed "Leavitt & Allen, New York." The presentation entry is dated "July, 1860."

There are various tender and flowery Victorian inscriptions in beautiful scripts, plus engravings and photographs, all with some age stains.

Many pages are still blank, and the gold tooled leather binding is still flexible on this picturesque antique which is in truly remarkably condition. Delicately inlaid with mother of pearl and abalone, size is 7" x 8 1/2."
