Executive Mahogany Desk, Spitzer of Chicago 1940 Vintage

A classic mahogany executive desk from about 1940 is signed "Spitzer of Chicago" on an engraved brass plate.
The deep gleaming finish is in excellent condition with only very minor mars at the edges. Deep drawers have solid mahogany dovetailed sides and heavy cast brass pulls, there is a file drawer plus two pull out shelves for extra workspace.
Understated but imposing, this American made vintage office furniture measures 6' long, 38" deep, 30" tall, the knee hole is 31" wide and 24" high.
