A "Victor Talking Machine" or Victrola phonograph from 1921 has a floor model mahogany furniture case in exceptional original condition. This premium model "VV XIV" has nickel mounts and plays records very well.
The gleaming finish is in very fine condition with delicate crazing from age and a few mars at the edges, see photos. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. Inside the lid is the original Nipper dog with "His Master's Voice" logo from about 1906.
Volume control is soft - both doors closed, medium - one door open, and loud - both doors open. Nickel knobs are later, an album of records is included.
Size of this American antique record player is 22" wide excluding the wind-up handle, 24" deep, and 47" tall when lid is closed.
