Carved of solid oak about 1880 during the late Victorian or Eastlake period, this low chest or dresser works as a bench as well.
The finish is in excellent condition, enhancing the incised "spoon" or chip carving of the era. Drawers have characteristic round pin and cove dovetail joints on this American made antique furniture. There is a separation running down the back, it is stable and not loose, see photos.
Size is 40" wide, 18" deep and 21" tall.
Item # N-17058
