Hand carved about 1910 in the Renaissance manner, this solid oak cabinet has a picturesque panel depicting monks imbibing in a Ratskeller, masterfully executed with remarkable perspective.
The top has been revarnished for durability, the base retains its original finish. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. The lower drawer has hand cut dovetail joints on this antique furniture from Scandinavia. A key operates both locks and serves as a handle on the drawer.
Measurements of this picturesque cabinet are 24" wide, 17" deep and 38" tall.
