Lavishly hand engraved in England about 1895, this oval dome silverplate server has a family coat of arms.
There is an area worn down to the brass underneath near the bone handle on the rolling dome lid. Inside are a pierced drip pan and liner for hot water, these classic British Victorian period servers often held bacon or "bangers".
Measurements of this elegant buffet serving piece are 13" long, 9" deep and 8 1/2" tall.
