A rugged solid quarter sawn oak desk chair from around 1915 has an iron mechanism that swivels and adjusts height and tilt.
Signed "Marble & Shattuck, Cleveland, Ohio," there are shrinkage separations and old repairs, all stable and strong.
The deep finish is excellent, the frame is rock solid on this American made antique office furniture. Ball bearing wheels are replacements. The curved lumbar spindles, sculpted seat and curved back are very "ergonomic" on this armchair.
Measurements are 22" wide, 24" deep, and as shown, 34" tall, the seat is 19" high and adjustable.
