This late Victorian or Eastlake period dining table from about 1880 is square and opens for 6 leaves with matching aprons or skirts.
Solid walnut has richly figured grain. The satiny finish is excellent, there are minor shrinkage separations from age for antique character. Porcelain wheels are original on this American made antique furniture.
A fifth center leg assures stability when extended, leaves are 12" wide. Dimensions are 29 1/2" tall, legroom is 24 1/2" underneath, the top is 42" square when closed, with all six leaves in place, length is 9' 7" overall.
