Biedermeier Empire Antique 1900 Marquetry Hall Settee or Sofa

A classic 1900 era "Biedermeier" or Empire design hall sofa from Scandinavia has inlaid marquetry and compartments by the arms.
Mahogany is inlaid with delicate banding and patterns in golden satinwood. The original finish has minor wear and some fading as shown. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. Upholstery is new on this elegant furniture from Denmark.
Size is 69" wide, 29" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 17" high.
